Michael Shirtz Quartet

Michael Shirtz offers a variety of different shows along with educational clinics. He performs as a solo, duo, or with his quartet. His performances reach out to jazz lovers and non-jazz audiences alike. His vocal style captures the warmth and lyricism of a Mel Tormé on smooth ballads, and up tunes with energy, drive, and a hint of blues. Among Shirtz’s greatest attributes are his diverse, instrumental-like scat-singing and cool ease with his audiences

Ellen Winters

A critically acclaimed and award-winning vocalist, Ellen Winters has been singing professionally for over 25 years. She has performed at the Montreux and North Seas Jazz Festivals in Europe; Rocky Mountain Jazz Festival in Banff; Summerfest in Milwaukee; The Dakota in Minneapolis; The Bitter End and Rose’s Turn in New York as well as the Jazz Showcase, Davenport’s and The Skokie Theatre in Chicago. Ellen has performed with Bonnie Herman & Don Shelton (members of The Singers Unlimited;) Darmon Meader (of New York Voices) and Daryl Stuermer (lead guitarist for Genesis.)

Mel Burns

In 2005, Mel Burns began writing music ranging from the eclectic sounds of indie rock to edgy rock to radio friendly pop to dance pop. His inspiration is always birthed from real life experiences, and his passion for communicating the struggles of the heart are impacting to the listener. Having shared the stage with bands such as Switchfoot, Twenty One Pilots, and Family Force 5, Mel has shared his original music through any avenue of opportunity that presents itself. His ambition is to continue to share music in hopes that it might move the hearts of people.

The Native Heart

The Native Heart is a collective of musicians started by Jon & Julie Torrence. Having been together for twelve years, their voices blend organically and complement their jazz-influenced folk sound. Their repertoire ranges from jazz standards to contemporary music, from folk legends to original songs, all the while remaining driven by rhythmic intensity and emotional strength.  At the heart of the Native Heart is a love of art and storytelling, and this is portrayed within their music.

Beth Magers

Country | Singer-Songwriter

Born and raised in Bellevue, Ohio Beth Magers has a passion for people and music. She’s had the privilege of living in several southern states, with Nashville, Music City, Tennessee being her favorite.  As a self-taught drummer on the drum set, she has been playing drums since she was 10 years old. Along the way, she has also grown in her ability to play guitar and sing, which has led her to her current worship leader role at a church back home in Bellevue. Currently, Beth enjoys playing as a solo acoustic act for hire. Booking for restaurants, bars, private parties or events, weddings etc., Beth entertains across the generations of her listeners covering music from Fleetwood Mac to Miranda Lambert, Lucinda Williams to Elton John.
